Drink Tubes

Does anybody understand how tubes of water/soda/pop/fizzies work? How does one crack the tube and how was Dallas able to order a half tube of Pepsi in Rapture?

Interestingly enough, when I went to do some research on this, I looked for "tube" style drink containers, thinking I might find some artist rendering or prototype image, and I found an actual product. So, early versions of a drink "tube" are already in production.

So, I had ChatGPT look at that image and mock up a version of that as a Pepsi tube.

How it works depends on the exact materials in 2060-ish, but if the material is thin enough, it could be rolled like they talk about in the series, or just thrown into a recyler.

Anyway...it's interesting to think about.
