We've talked about this topic many times on the podcast, but we would like to get our listener's input: What are your favorite moments in the "In Death" series where Eve does a good deed? Like the time in "Obsession" where Eve encounters "Misty" who she knows is probably under age and living in a crappy apartment and Eve pulls Roarke aside and asks him if there's any room at Dóchas for her.

Let us know what your favorite "Eve's Good Deeds" moment is!

The first one I can think of is her mentoring Peabody by asking her to help with the search of CJ’s place

The first one I remember was early in the series. I don't remember the details. Maybe Jen can help with the book so I can look it up.
There was a pawn shop employee who came in to talk to Eve. She'd noticed the items (comps I believe) were on the stolen property list. Her boss told her not to do anything about it. She finished her day and went into Central to report them. She knew she'd loose her job so Eve asked Roarke to find her a job in his empire.
I'm sure she's done this at least three times, offered jobs to people, that I can remember.

You're thinking of Juana Printz in "Thankless in Death"?

Ok, first attempt at replying 😬
I can’t remember the book, but when Eve attempts to make a meal for Roarke? Does that class as a good deed?
Also how she protects the survivors like Nixie, and the little lad that sells her scarfs & hats etc (sorry, I’m so terrible at names) and even how she helped Mavis

Welcome Sally!

The book was “Witness in Death”! That’s a great example!

Thanks!

Yes, I think so. I was getting it conflated (big word lol) with Loyalty because I remember thinking about Fixer for some odd reason.

I mentioned it in the Patreon group, but thanks again for creating this space!
