From a trilogy....

"Are you feeling more yourself now?"

"Top of the world, Ma." <Hero> rubbed absently at his wounded hip. Since it was pouring blood, he ripped off the sleeve of his shirt. "Give me a hand will you? Quick field dressing."

"You want me to bandage your arse?"

"It's not my ass, you git."

"Close enough." But <Friend> walked over to see to it. "Drop your drawers then sweetheart."

I'm surprised nobody's bit on this. Need more?

Still a trilogy

"You want me to bandage your arse?"

"It's not my ass, you git."

"Close enough." But <Friend> walked over to see to it. "Drop your drawers then sweetheart."

<Hero> spared him a single dark look, but obliged.

"And what do you think <Baddy>'s mood will be when not a one of her raiding or hunting parties comes back?"

"She'll be pissed." <Hero> craned his head to watch <Friend>'s work. "Royally."

"Makes a body feel good, doesn't it? You'll have a fine hole in your bum for a bit."

"Hip."

"Looks like your ass to me."

No, this is the third quote after your last win so you are only eligible if it goes three days.

“When you spot violence, or bigotry, or intolerance or fear or just garden-variety misogyny, hatred or ignorance, just look it in the eye and think, ‘The good outnumber you, and we always will.’”  Patton Oswalt

ARGHHHHH one of my favorite trilogies and I just, against my better judgement, lent all 3 books to a friend so she could read them. This is what I get for listening to her saying "Please give me something to read I am dying." Next time she can die. :D :D

I am not sure which book this is from though I may have to go visit my friend.

Great quote Joe!!!

"It's hard to resist a bad boy who's a good man. They'll knock the legs right out from under you." - Mrs G. to Parker in "Happy Ever After" by Nora Roberts.

*shaking my head* If I add more, it's totally giving it away! I'll say it's a recent, paranormal trilogy. That's a pretty good clue. :P

Valley of Silence. Cian and Larkin are surveying the battle field so Cian can get the lay of the land. Cian feels the evil making him want to bite the dragon's neck and taste the human blood. They land and Cian manages to fight the primal urge, but wants to hunt something. Larkin becomes the dragon again and they drop one of Glenna's bombs on Lilith's troops. Then they shoot those remaining and land again and start collecting weapons. Cian is shot in the hip by a second party. After killing them, they land and Larkin asks if they've killed them all. Cian says, "By my count." And Larkin says, "And you counted so well the last time." Then he asks Cian the quote, "Are you feeling more yourself now?" Cian answers, and etc.
