Hello, Everyone!

I've added a minor new feature to the site, and I thought I should explain it to you all. It's a new thing Google is doing now called "Google Plus One."

Basically, it's a "Like" button for Google. If you click on it while you are on any page in the forum, Google makes note of that, and based on how many "Plus One's" we get, we can improve our position on Google, which is always a good thing. The button is at the top of the page under the search form:

I don't really want people to go crazy and click the button a million times or anything. That might hurt more than it helps. BUT, again, if there's a thread or something that you particularly like, click that "Plus One" button, and make Google aware that someone likes this forum.

Thanks!

AJ

I have to admit, I used my +1 button in the Hugh Jackman thread. :)

Thanks, you two!

What would really help us is "plus ones" on threads like "New York to Dallas," or any of the book threads, really, and mostly any on topic threads.

I'm also debating putting this on the Wiki, too. We'll see how it works for the forum first.

Thanks again!

It does look like you do have to have a Google account to use the "Plus One" button. So, if you don't have a Google account, you won't be able to "Plus One," but if you do have a Google account, you're good to go.

JMO, but if you put it on Wiki, I think it will help. I've been there a few time, and its awesome. I have to admit, I got an ego trip seeing a few answers to my SQ's to Nora on there, knowing in a roundabout way I contributed.

I'll do that too, but for my "first time", I wanted it to be Hugh.
