Saw the movie The Lodger and immediately thought of Peabody when I saw her. She is older at 31, but has a very youthful look and could definitely pull off younger. She has been acting since she was 10.

Sorry but when I see Rachael Leigh Cook, I think 'petite' and slim; which is not what comes to my mind regarding sturdy, square-faced Peabody.

I see Peabody as a short voluptuous woman. Definitely proportionate, but still slim. She only perceives herself as overweight because it isn't her definition of perfect, which would be Eve. I have that problem too. I know I'm not fat, but seem to linger on all my imperfections because of what society has labeled as skinny. I think it's a mental thing more so than actually physical. In the books Peabody is the only one that thinks she's overweight.
