Welcome Kewte! She is a great actress. She has the dented chin, relatively tall, and fair skin. I think she's perfect.
I agree with the chin and height. She's a decent actress. I don't think Eve's skin/complexion is fair.
She just doesn't say Eve to me.

Women are much like angels. When you break our wings we simply continue to fly.....on a broomstick. We're flexible like that.

Eve's fair complected (that's mentioned a few times). Probably not a "porcelain" skin, but fair rather than olive toned or anything. Emily's complexion is similar to how I picture Eve's.
I do like her, and even though she's British, she pulls off a decent American accent. I could dig this choice.

She may be feminine in real life, but that doesn't mean that she couldn't pull off "Bitch Cop". Isn't that what acting is all about, taking on roles that are different from yourself? Besides any person, actor or regular society, would have a hard time being successful in life if they had a bad additude or a dark criminal persona all the time. Look what happened to Shannen Doherty. She's got the Eve Dallas additude in real life and nobody wants to work with her. It's hard to find the right people based on pictures and past accomplishments, but good actors are diverse. So, I look for the people that have the look physically and imagine everything else falls into place once their reality changes to the characters they're portraying.

Emily is a really good actress. I could see her pulling off "bitch cop" easily. And she'd have Eve's vulnerability down pat.

I saw Emily on Jimmy Kimmel and now I like her even more for Eve. She has a sharp wit and would easily turn into smart ass and she's a prankster, who knew. She just seems so well rounded as a person and older than she looks. I too think she could be vulnerable to her past terrors while maintaining her responsibilities in the present easily without putting up with crap from other people.

I watched the movie Sunshine Cleaners today and while the movie wasn't outstanding, her performance was great. She had a great American accent and played the rebelious woman troubled by her horrific childhood very well. I would love to see her as Eve. She has the look and she's an amazing actress.

I hadn't thought of Emily Blunt as Eve, but now that you mention it, it's got my gears turning. She's a very good actress and definitely could pull of all the different levels Eve has. And she does have the chin dent! Just when I thought I had it narrowed down to two actresses for Eve, now I'm torn between three. lol

I watched "Adjusment Bureau" last night with EB and Matt Damon and now I am firmly in the Emily Blunt camp. In this movie she was being british, but I have heard her american accent and it's fine. I think she is a fine actress and can do the layers of Eve's emotions really well... that is my vote any way.

could she pull off a NY accent with texas under tones?
Now that I've mentioned it. Wonder how that would sound to my own ears...
