But isn't it clearly stated in the books themselves that they get married on a Saturday, the 11th of July in 2058???
You are like a damn chess board, Eve. Bloody black and white!
You never asked yourself, not even once, if I made a play for you because of the money?
You didn't make a play for me. I made the play....
It was you, Lieutenant, who fell into my guile, after I gave you a bloody good shove.

Not that I know of or that I've been able to find; if you can give me a page number that lists Saturday, July 11, 2058, it would certainly make everything easier. For me, I have no doubt about July 11th but here's why we have it listed the way it is.I was just reading the series chronology and it seems that there is some doubt on the day or date they get married.

Their wedding date was originally set as July 13th or 14th, and was put together by a member with Immortal and Rapture and a future calendar. That had been around, in the forum, for a while, I think.
I went in after their work was done and, using only Immortal in Death, used the dates given in that book alone to decide their wedding date; I didn't use a future calendar or Rapture. After I had the dates and decided it was Saturday, July 11th, I went back and looked at the timeline that was done for Immortal and compared the days. The timeline, done independently by another member, matched what I had found in my own reading. So, I went ahead and added dates to the Immortal in Death timeline and, for good measure, decided that the Series Chronology page would now have their wedding day listed with a firm date instead of an estimate. Page numbers, from Immortal, on which that day/date is based is also found in the references.
However, I did not want to 'throw away' the work that was done by the other member; especially since I was contradicting the work that was put into a previously accepted theory. I just left it as a footnote, what other members said, and left July 11th alone on the main Series Chronology page.
For myself, I have no question about the date of their marriage using only Immortal; and, I think, using Immortal, Rapture, and a future calendar only confuses the issue and unnecessarily muddies the waters when workable dates are in right there in Immortal. I don't know if anyone has double-checked the dates (Reference #30 and information from the timeline), and would encourage anyone else to do so, to be doubly or triply-sure a 'fact' is indeed listed correctly. I just left the note about the previous theory under Reference #31 because that was the widely-accepted theory before I decided to call it true that their wedding date was Saturday, July 11, 2058. (Check the Immortal in Death timeline and/or this post.)

Okay, I will check thoroughly before confirming that, but I am almost sure that when they talk about Charles and Louise's wedding, there is some mention of a Saturday..
And from Immortal we know it is on July11th, 2058..
The last few days have been crazy. And I have an interview on Friday and so might be a while before I get back to this.. Pl bear with me..

July 11 2058 will be a Thursday. There will be four Saturdays in July 2058: the 6th, the 13th, the 20th, and the 27th.
This is why people talk about us.

Sometimes we're standing nose-to-nose with an issue -- and need to step back to see the WHOLE picture.

I looked at this thread because I was hoping to see a list of when each book started -- if not a specific date, then at least a good indicator, i.e. Thanksgiving, Valentine's Day, etc. Unless said list is stored somewhere else in the wikki, I'll volunteer to take care of that little task. AJ -- please let me know if this has already been done. If not, then I'll stick it in this particular thread... of course, since we all keep rereading the books over and over, perhaps everyone can take a moment to check the book they are currently reading, and then update this list -- that way, we could have the task done within a day or two. Be sure to include the YEAR when story is taking place.
Reunion starts in Summer 2059
Big Jack also starts in Summer 2059 -- will check further to see if it was before/after Reunion

So, yes, in a manner of speaking it has (mostly) been done, except on the Series Chronology page, it doesn't specifically list each book on the day that's notated. My suggestion would be to look at the individual timeline pages and make sure they all note approximately when that book starts, then go to the Series Chronology page, and add in book titles (with links back to those book pages) in where they belong on the timeline.

actually, this is most likely one of Nora's screw-ups -- she may very well have indicated the wedding was on Saturday July 11 2058 -- without checking to see if that was a real, actual date.
