I also made a score at the goodwill the other day. Steven King's Hearts in Atlantis, and The Stand. Looks like I'll be busy for a while.
I'm tempted to reread The Stand...probably my favorite Stephen King ever...well until I stopped reading a lot of his stuff because I was so creeped out!!
I picked up Night Pleasures by Sherrilyn Kenyon and Flirting with Danger by Suzanne Enoch at the library this week, because I obviously spend way to much time on the What are you currently reading thread!! I can't keep up with all the great suggestions!!

Finished Flirting with Danger - absolutely loved it!
Don't Look Down is in transit from library. Started Fired Up today - so far, so good.
I just finished Don't Look Down. You will enjoy that one too! I just received Fired Up and will be tackling it this weekend.

I'm starting Why My Third Husband Will Be A Dog, by Lisa Scottoline.

Women are much like angels. When you break our wings we simply continue to fly.....on a broomstick. We're flexible like that.
Light travels faster than sound, which is why so many people appear to be bright until they open their mouths.

1. Lady Killer by Lisa Scottoline. It's the first time I've read one of her books and I have to say I have only one chapter left and I'm not a fan at all. There are two many characters clashing together and the plot really isn't going anywhere. Out of the many many characters she has in this novel so far I only like 2!
2. Wicked by Jilly Cooper. Again, it's the first time I've read one of hers but I must say I'm only a few chapters in but I'm loving it! It's a charming book made up of delightful characters and a brilliant story line.

Wow....I just added a post but completely missed that you're starting Lisa Scottoline. You'll have to tell me what you think. I may have just picked a bad one.

Also it looks like my break from ID won't be happening after all. I also picked up today the unabridged audo copy of Creation and Strangers ID at Books-A-Million for twenty dollars for both. I love the clearance rack!

I"m currently reading two books.
1. Lady Killer by Lisa Scottoline. It's the first time I've read one of her books and I have to say I have only one chapter left and I'm not a fan at all. I read some Lisa Scottoline years ago and didn't care for it. I think I read three, all with female lawyers as the leads, and I was having a hard time keeping them straight. But I love her newspaper column and I loved Why My Third Husband Will Be A Dog. Jem, you might give that a try.
Anyone who wants to read the column, by the way, instead of diving right into a whole book, it's available online here.

I like those books. They're a total departure from her Vampire Chronicles and her Biblical series. But her writing style shines through, and the story is just plain HAWTI'm reading the Hardcover, The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty by Anne Rice.
Reading Private Scandals by Nora. Just finished a re-read of Honest Illusions. I forgot how much I loved that book.
