So I watch USA a lot, and I've been seeing lots of promos for their new show White Collar. And one of the stars, I think, has Roarke possibilities. Now, if you do an image search for him what comes up doesn't look very promising. He tends to be a little rougher, scruffier, and shaggier than Roarke (the hair style makes a huge difference). However, in the promo he's much more...polished, and I think he looks good. He's too young right now, but that's better than being too old since he can grow into it.

As I said, the photos aren't the greatest (in terms of Roarke, he's still cute). But seriously, watch the promo:

And yes, he has a bit of a chin dent. Chin dent purists can commence freaking out in 5, 4, 3, 2....

ETA: I grabbed a few screencaps from the promo

He's a cutie, for sure, but no Roarkeness.
I can't get past that dimple in his chin. I don't remember Roarke being described as "dimpled."

Well, the role is very much a new take on 'It Takes a Thief. I did some screen captures that are very Roarke-like. Roarke in his office, reading a newspaper, coming down the stairwell at the mansion and passing by the newel post where Eve tosses her jacket, driving a kickass car, walking the streets of New York..... Definite possibilities.

I find it funny that you added screen caps at the same time I did and used nearly the same ones. :lollol: I guess we both saw the same thing in those shots. There are some views where he looks a bit too boyish, but for the most part, I see a Roarke-ness there.

Here are a couple of other images where he has the Roarke quality.

1) Just being Roarke
2) With Sharon DeBlass just prior to her death and his fated meeting with Eve
3) Again Darling Eve?

He's yummy and I think he's a possibility. Do we know how tall he is? His build looks about right, and I won't lie, I like his face, Roarke or no Roarke :P

I really liked him as Luc in Tru Calling. Some of these pics are really good, I could see this happening.

He will be 32 in Oct.

He is 5 ft. 11 1/2 inches tall.

Okay, I can see it, in these shots. Still, don't like the chin dent, but, if Hugh Jackman is totally out of the picture, he'll do.

1) Just being Roarke

I dunno. That picture is the only one that says Roarke to me. He's got the build, the body language, but the face? The face just doesn't scream Roarke. He is good looking, sure. But not Roarke gorgeous. I wouldn't throw tomatoes at the screen if he got chosen but I wouldn't be overjoyed either. :2cents:

I don't know, the picture where he's shirtless and looking up at someone with that mischievous "glint" in his eye pretty much screams Roarke to me.

That pose, the body language, his expression are all Roarke. Totally. And while I was looking at the pictures in the thumbnail form, I thought he was perfect. But I just don't love his face. I think it's that very first photo Karate0Kat put up. :) I could live with him as Roarke. He just wouldn't be my first choice.

I think he would be pretty good as Roarke,, I might even jump in the fray for him ;p ,hehehe, Since Nora describes his face as chinsled(sp) a little dent in the chin fits okay to me. Eve has got to have a really noticable one for me. but this guy works.

I really like this guy, and I have to agree that I wouldn't throw tomatoes at the screen.

As far as the chin dent though that can be fixed with movie make-up.

I would only accept him though if Hugh was thrown completely out because lets face it by the time that we ever do get to see and ID movie...Hugh may be completely out of the running.

Hold the insults and just think if makes sense. For now though we should all be content to drool over Hugh.

Now we have more eye candy though.
