Book Exchange

PLEASE READ! This forum is set up so that site members can exchange PRINTED books with each other. If you've got a printed book that you no longer want and would like to offer to other site members, or if you're looking for a book that another member might want to get rid of, you can post those messages here.

HOWEVER...

You may NOT post messages about exchanging eBooks.

What's the difference?

With a printed book, you buy it...whether new or used...read it, and then give it away. You no longer have it. As long as only one person at a time has posession of any one book, that is perfectly legal.

The problem with eBooks is that unless you are planning to delete your copy of the eBook completely off any and all computers you own after giving it to the next person, you are COPYING that book...not just giving it away...and that is a violation of copyright law.

InDeath.net doesn't encourage, endorse or support any violation of copyright laws that a user may commit by posting about eBook exchanges here. Therefore, it's just better all around if you just don't post about eBook exchanges here at all.
