Summary:

This is indeed a fairy tale...a satire, just a ditte. I got the idea after babysitting my nieces and nephew for the first time in more then 2 years--19 hours of torture. The oldest niece is going through a 'lying phase'. My nephew is sweet, but such a clingy brat. The baby, who is a little over a year old, is learning to sleep through the night, but still thinks that everyone needs to get up at 4:30 in the morning because she needs to be entertained. I love all three of them, and thankfully they behave for me, which is a concept that still amazes my sister. This story is simple. The idea came from everyone who said that Eve and Roarke should have a kid. Here's my reaction to say that it would be nice for them to have a kid--one, singular. They don't even need a dog! And because this is 'In-Death', there must be a mystery, but someone else will handle it.

This is a prequel to my '9 months' and 'Southern Fried'. Instead of trying to write this story for laughs, I'm trying to write this as close to ID as possible (which the obvious exception that they have kids). There are some who say that Parenthood is a trade off, and I can understand what they mean -- even though I'm an aunt. Although I will admit that it's fun to see what our favorite couple would be like as parents -- I have to agree that I would not want to see this happen anytime soon.

Disclaimer

A favorite plot of fan fiction has always been 'what if Eve had relatives'. While it's cannon that that Eve's father is Richard Troy and her mother is Stella - it's is not clear about anything else. If she did have relatives other then these two hideous people, it is unclear how she would be found ~~ yet, we still wish that she had someone besides them. But as Jane Howard said 'Call it a clan, call it a network, call it a tribe, call it a family. Whatever you call it, whoever you are, you need one': our darling Eve has many someones besides them...and they are her family. Especially her husband.

But fan fiction is still a world of 'what ifs' and fun. So since in this little world of fiction, I gave Roarke a sister...Eve deserves one as well. Not a fu-fu chick thought.

Remember...this is just a fairy tale. Please be kind to the short redhead who is putting her head on the chopping block.

Now this fairy tale is another tongue and cheek thing. It is a fable...to be taken lightly. I apologize in advance for using sterotypes of southerners in this story. If I didn't...the story would not be funny.
