Chapter 31
“Don’t panic ladies Commander Whitney is putting two men on the door who will remain there until the ceremony starts. Trina I need to make one more call I need to let Roarke know what is going on here.”
“Okay, but this is the last call girlfriend, I need to get you ready the bride needs to out shine everybody.”
“I know you told me that before at least this time there is no black eye or bruises to cover up.”
“Well the ceremony isn’t over yet you know it could happen you know Dallas!”
“It’ll just be one more minute.” Eve once again takes out her link to contact Roarke. “Ro
arke, I don’t know if Whitney contacted you so I’m going to tell you that Ricker is somewhere in the church. We are locked down in the bride room with two officers on the door.”
“How do you know that he is or was in the church? And what are they doing besides guarding the door?”
“He left a dress with a note for me. Commander Whitney is having the church searched he hopes that they’ll find him but since it was searched before we arrived so chances are they won’t find him before the ceremony.”
“Okay , take care of my cop. I’ll see you in a few hours.”
“Me to, take care of my Irishman.”
“Okay Dallas put the link away and get the clothes off and put on the robe and get in the chair.”
“Okay, okay. Can I have a drink now?”
“Mavis give her some champagne.”
“Gotcha. Then I’ll help with Peabody’s hair and getting her dress on.”
“Good. Just make sure you don’t mess up your hair Mavis I won’t have time to fix it again.”
“Okay, Trina, I won’t mess with the hair.”
The three women continued to eat and cautiously drink the champagne while waiting until it was time to put the dress on

“Okay Dallas I know this is a really stupid question but do you want Leonardo’s custom dress or do you want the crazy guys mother’s dress?” Trina asked
“Let me think crazy guy or the dress that Leonardo’s dress that he made just for me. I think I’ll talk the one made just for me."
“Good choice. You really can’t pull of that kind of dress with your coloring.”
Within a half hour later everybody was ready and all there was to do was to wait for the commander to let them know that they could head out. Finally after what seemed like was hours but in reality was only minutes they received the single that they could leave the bridal room.
Once the women had left the room and were getting ready to start down the aisle when suddenly Max Ricker appeared in a tuxedo and took Eve’s arm and whispered in her ear “Are you ready for what’s next my dear?”
